Congenital Heart Defects - Diagnosis with Machine learning and AI

Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs) are a significant health challenge, contributing to the highest rates of infant mortality among birth defects globally. It is estimated that approximately 1.35 million infants are born with CHDs each year, with around 25% of these cases being classified as critical heart defects. A primary contributing factor to mortality in these cases is the undetected nature of CHDs during prenatal evaluations, which can lead to serious health complications shortly after birth.

My research project will help in the early diagnosis and treatment planning for CHD utilizing ML/AI, more to come!!
